She sits on a terrace. It's raining and you hear the raindrops falling on the parasol. She wears well worn ballerinas and her friend is wearing ballerinas too. Both women are in their early twenties. The toenails of both women are painted red. The woman with the blue shoes prefers to put her right foot out of her shoe and to play with that shoe. She raises and lowers her foot above her shoe and plays with her shoe. She turns her shoe 180 degrees and you can watch her wrinkled sole. The legs of her friend are crossed at the ankle; one foot is uplifted from her shoe and the other foot moves into her shoe. The other woman struggles to turn her shoe 180 degrees back again. She moves her shoe back and forth. She slips her feet out of both shoes and her complete feet are visible. From the girl with the blue flats is her brown hair visible from behind and a faceshot from the side is visible from the girl with the black flats.
